The week that was

It has been a funny old week really. Recently I lost the keys to my front door and also to gates at either side of the house. I changed the locks which cost a fortune. The day before the new locks were put on the gates we had a tremendous storm which knocked one of the gates open. Thankfully, we had locked Diesel Dog in the house for the night or he would certainly gone off through that gate on a long walk, maybe never to return. After all this my keys were found and returned to me, a little too late though. Hopefully there will not be a repeat of this week that was. In 24 hours I am off to France for a road trip from Paris to Basque country in Spain. Hopefully I will have some interesting stories to put up on My Lot.

Glad to hear that everything worked out with the keys even though it was a costly one! Safe travels and we will be looking forward to hearing all about it when you get back!

@Happy2BeMe Thanks for your message, L_B. Yes it was costly but a lesson to remember, watch out for the keys. Yes I shall be posting as often as I can.

Isn't it annoying when you find (or someone else finds) your keys or credit card soon after you've changed the locks or cancelled the card? Have a good trip in France and Spain - look forward to reading about it.

I hate losing keys. Never know what could happen. Too bad you didn't find them sooner.
