Grey And Bleak

Those grey days are coming fast. I feel like the depression is looming like a darkening shadow behind me. Just off stage. I feel as if all my nerve endings are laying wide open and sore already. I don't like to be up while the other two in the house are sleeping. I like to hear them moving around in the house. I don't want to be alone with my thoughts for too long. I get paranoid and even afraid of those thoughts. The worse aspects of the things I think about grow tall and menacing. When they are awake I feel stronger for some reason.

I am depressed all of the time but, winter is usually much worse and comes on with a vengeance.

I'm sure it would. I have no transportation to go anywhere. I had thought of going to the senior center. It's very hard when you have no transportation and don't know any one.

I can understand that. I hate grey days. I save all year to go to the sunshine a couple of weeks during winter.

I know what you're talking about. I have trouble at night when it's time to go to sleep, though, that's when I get scared and the thoughts run rampant. Hugs.

I almost asked my daughter to not leave my room last night when she was going to bed. So weird. I am a grown women and I hate these feelings. Hugs to you too.
