I always check on my page in Face Book to see if my son has entered anything.I took time to watch a pretty long video of 9/11 and it all came back like just' now and I saw my cousins among others leap to their deaths. I found myself weeping like it had happened today.Sorry that was childish. So we had pizza and potato chips, lentil soup, coffee and lemonade.ice cream for dessert.I guess Buong is still picking at her food. Well back and onward and upward to do some interacting. I get weepy thinking about it, too. That day will live in infamy just like when JFK was assassinated. Did you know anyone lost in that disaster?

@Hatley Many people were in tears that day. Also, we did not know whether this was the first step of a bigger attack.

I had the same experience yesterday watching TV. We, chilean people, have another reason not to like September 11th. It was the day of the Coup here. The video showed again how it had happened, using in part photos taken at the moment. I cried and cried yet I could not turn off the TV.

I am sorry that the past made you cry. I believe in all things happen for a reason, reasons only known by God.

@Hatley Well, I thought the same about watching my fathers face rot off for years while he was still alive with skin cancer.

So sorry to hear about your cousins. I watched a couple programs on the History Channel on this. I was unemployed at the time so I kept pretty close eye on what went on back then and it was jaw dropping to say the very least.

Oh gosh, I hadn't realized you had family there at that time. I have seen videos and it's just so surreal that it all happened like that.
