In the US min wage is still$7.25 hour But some of the states have it higher Like in New state the min wage is $9.00 Hour, But today no matter what state some In most of the jobs are only part time. I one time work 5 days a week and got 40 hours That was considered full time. Now I work 5days and Oly get like 23 hours. A week. Most of the factory s in my area went overseas.

I think it is £7.20/$9.50 for those over 25 but that could be the living wage,, I get mixed up by the two.

Here the minimum wage is $10.65 but our cost of living here is quite high. It is hard to live on minimum wage.

We do not have minimum wage in our country. It is up to the employer and employees to negotiate on the salary. Some foreign workers get only S$2 per hour. Many locals in fast food get about S$5.50 or S$6 per hour. it is ironical that our cost of living is much higher than in New York, yet there are so many people with such low salary. We are the most expensive country (city) in the world for 3 years already. Ours is a city-state, so when we top the world in term of cost, that means our country is very costly for living expenses than all other countries in the world.

I believe that the min wage in our province, which is Ontario, Canada, is $11.25/hour. I wouldn't be able to make it on min wage here, never mind the min wage that you have, that would be unmanageable for me.

Without googling it, I really couldn't tell you what the minimum wage is in the UK. Last time I was on an hourly rate there was no min wage, and that is going back a good 20 years. I know since then they have introduced an £/hour min.
