I am tired of all the ads on television and in the newspaper. This year has so many of them and people are even knocking on my house door to ask me to sign petitions. Its hard to sleep when the telephone rings in the morning. The first words I hear are this will only take a few minutes of your time to answer a few questions about who your voting for this coming election. I quickly hang up, as I know it won't be a few minutes. Its harder to deal with people knocking, as they don't like the word no.
Any ideas how to get the people door knocking to leave are welcome? I am finding calls at 5:30 am and door knocking at 9:00 am to be a real problem. Telemarketing is bad and now its endless phone calls.

Phone rang at 5:30 am and didn't answer it. There isn't a single day that the phone doesn't ring trying to get my support for something. I agree its rude and really has me very tired.

@LadyDuck I contacted the phone company and without the name of the person time they called and their phone number I can't do anything. The calls aren't showing a phone number on my ID Box. Many people make calls and block the number they are making calls from which is difficult, as several family members call me blocking their number. I have even made calls and block my number, as when I have a delivery I want to be sure the person writes down my information and doesn't just write down the number on the ID Box. There are times I have made a call from somebody else's house to have something delivered to my house later in the day like dinner.

@Fishmomma Have you tried to report those calls? I think that this could be considered stalking.

You made me laugh and that is hard to do now. I'm just to tired all the time, as I'm not getting enough sleep. Some of it couldn't be helped, as I had to sign for some deliveries. I purchased a new computer and had to sign for it and the other items needed for the computer. The items came different days.

I agree and people are yelling at each other. This is the hardest election I have seen and I'm a senior, so have seen a lot of them. Its not over, so its going to be a few more hard weeks.
