Oh goodness it feels like forever that I have been away, have you missed me? Now that is being presumptuous of me, but I have missed you all!! Its like I have been away on a working week and now I can sit back and relax and play again! Ballet Exams went Very Well - 100% pass rate for our Ballet School with a few Honours awarded to some really fantastic dancers . . all credit to their very talented teacher because the examiners stated - What fantastic Choreography which was set to some fantastic African composition. As the Music master I got to see it all and I was very impressed myself. Bowls for Ballet was a roaring success and we managed to raise a great amount of funds to support those that are not able and to promote the Arts within our city. It's at times like this, that I know how generous most people can be, and not forgetting the bowlers who where amazingly charitable! Sunday I played at the Daphne Lee Centre Fund raising Bowling Day which was a fundraiser for the local Association for The Physically Disabled. Remarkably my team came Second and received a great Wine Caddy with two bottles of very good wine. I was more surprised than anything else in my bowling, it was good, and receiving a reward for being part of a charity event was an even greater reward. Today I am off to take my very dirty car to the car wash - I just dont have any energy to do it myself. Good Monday to everyone - I hope there are plenty of calling cards for me to get back to - Later everyone! Believe me - listen to this amazing song and imagine a ballet dancers doing her best to achieve Honours to this beautiful piece of music composed by Christopher Tin - MOST POWERFUL! Baba Yetu means . . . The Our father in Swahilii
"Baba Yetu" is a song by composer Christopher Tin. It was sung by Ron Ragin and the Soweto Gospel Choir in Tin's debut album "Calling All Dawns." "Baba Yetu"...

This song had me in tears and with goosebumps during the exam and afterwards I said to my daughter she is indeed an amazing choreographer - the dance was just beautiful!

I had begun wondering about your absence because you are normally very active on a regular daily basis. As for the music, it is not what I would expect for ballet.

The music was not what I expected for Ballet either, but if I was permitted to record that performance, I would have you all crying alongside with me - IT WAS MOVINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!
