Halloween - The Time Of Costumes and Candy

Halloween, the time of the year when I get to see all the little ones out and about looking so adorable in their cute costumes.
I love to see their cute little faces so excited, holding out their bags for their piece of candy.
I look at this holiday as a little happy time of exciting dress up for the kids.
When my girls were growing up I used to have a Halloween party for them and their friends. I wanted to be sure they were safe.
The children that come here are the ones we know and care for. I love this little holiday .

It is a fun time for kids. I can recall growing up and getting excited about my costumes. Then my daughter and her kids enjoying the same. Costumes were usually make up from household stuff. That's always so much more fun. Vampires, witches and gypsies. Fun!

@HazySue .....I used to always go as a gypsy cause my mom had a lot of jewelry and I love to dress up.

@celticeagle I think it was more fun if you put together your own costume rather than by it from the store.
