Joy for October

Philippines
October 3, 2016 11:37pm CST
It was only yesterday, October 3rd, when I remembered to flip the Papemelroti calendar hanging above the computer, and only now noticed the theme and quotes for the month of October. "Find joy in the ordinary." "Today I choose joy." "Joy is prayer; Joy is strength; Joy is love; Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls." Mother Teresa "Be joyful in hope." Romans 12:12 All this matches the article I was speed-reading at MSN.com the other day about how promising my horoscope for the month of October will be. The preview of possibilities does make you hopeful. Although the suggestions given can be unrealistic, it gives you an idea how to apply all those positive energies. It's that same feeling you get at the start of the New Year. Here's the link if you're curious: PS - Papemelroti is a Filipino gift and accessories chain that uses recycled materials. Their first mall-based store opened in 1976 in Ali Mall, Cubao (Philippines). The name stands for the siblings PAtsy, PEggy, MELdy, RObert and TIna Alejandro.
Libra season is upon us, showering the world in cooperative vibes — and we could certainly use them right now! Until the 22nd, the sun floats through the sign of peace, love, and harmony, inspiring people to partner up. Expand your search radius: With frie

We can always get the positive vibes at any month and any day , if we only think of it that way , every morning as we wake up . I don't read horoscope .

it was just out of curiosity and then quickly forgotten. just like new year's resolution that don't last. you mean you've never ever read horoscopes even when you were young?

that's why i liken them to new year's resolutions. eventually you forget them and it's back to real life, but for the beginning of the year you're so happy and motivated.

I often read my horoscope if I get the chance but I can never remember what it says for more than a few hours. Perhaps that is all for the best.

@hereandthere If it is a really positive message I try to remember it but that doesn't work either. I'd hate to be dependent on it for my happiness.

October is going to pass quickly. As for Joy. Without it what's the point. Or what is there without it. Horoscopes. Nah. Don't buy into them. All just a load of possible coincidence. Each star sign equates to almost 10 percent of us so some of it is bound to hsppen

it was something we're obsessed by when we were younger, but now just glance at, but nothing sticks.

Thanks for sharing this! I remember at the beginning of this year, I chose two words for the year - Joy & Peace. But it seems like I am not living them well. Thanks for the reminder! I'd just like to wish you a Happy Birthday, though I do not know which day it is.

Oh gosh, I haven't really read my horoscope in a long time. And the moment happens to be "my" time - I should really go check it out - not that I really believe the predictions. But it's fun to read anyway!

I enjoy reading my horoscope, but once it was right. It said, "Beware of someone with brown hair. He will bring you bad news." My husband, who has brown hair, told me my father called to tell us he had cancer.
