It was only yesterday, October 3rd, when I remembered to flip the Papemelroti calendar hanging above the computer, and only now noticed the theme and quotes for the month of October.
"Find joy in the ordinary."

All this matches the article I was speed-reading at MSN.com the other day about how promising my horoscope for the month of October will be.
The preview of possibilities does make you hopeful. Although the suggestions given can be unrealistic, it gives you an idea how to apply all those positive energies.
It's that same feeling you get at the start of the New Year.

@hereandthere When i was in high school , yes i read them on the daily newspaper . But i realized , they aren't true anyway , i stopped .

@SIMPLYD I read my horoscope from time to time. Today my horoscope says - - "You need to get out and meet new friends. blah blah blah blah and blah . . Your lucky numbers are 6 9 21 32 41 45."

Sounds interesting .. It's good thing that horoscope predictions are all very encouraging .. sure does give hope and joy to those who follow and believe them..

that's why i liken them to new year's resolutions. eventually you forget them and it's back to real life, but for the beginning of the year you're so happy and motivated.

@hereandthere If it is a really positive message I try to remember it but that doesn't work either. I'd hate to be dependent on it for my happiness.

October is going to pass quickly.
As for Joy. Without it what's the point.
Or what is there without it.
Horoscopes. Nah. Don't buy into them. All just a load of possible coincidence.
Each star sign equates to almost 10 percent of us so some of it is bound to hsppen

Thanks for sharing this! I remember at the beginning of this year, I chose two words for the year - Joy & Peace. But it seems like I am not living them well. Thanks for the reminder!
