No no, not the wizard, don't trust em.
Actually I ordered some items from Sams Club via Swagbucks and earned 1 point per dollar spent, now I'm off to pick up my order.
I did this for one really good reason, tis the season for temptation and boy do I get tempted with all those kool tins cookies come in. Last time I was in Sams I made a HUGE mistake, I walked by the Christmas goody isle and voila, there were those Walker Shortbread cookies ..... I generally don't eat cookies, but the tin they were in is so peeerrrdy I just have to have it.
This time I will not walk by any isles, I'll simply walk in show my id and walk out with the things I actually need, whew, what a time saver and I made some extra bucks taboot.
What kinds of things get you off track while shopping this time of year?

If I buy chocolate it's always dark chocolate and if possible it's organic ..... but I do not have a sweet tooth so I rarely buy chocolate
I wish the chocolate companies would sell their chocolates in large Christmas tins like the cookie companies do.

@rebelann They sell chocolate in large Christmas tins here and the chocolate made in Switzerland (and Belgium) is organic, because the producers of those two countries have decided that the chocolate made here must be pure and made as it has been made from centuries, no coconut oil or other garbage added to the pure cocoa paste.

Ohhh, I know those Walker Shortbread cookies . . . not that we buy them often, but I will buy them during the holidays for some as gifts . . . and somehow I have that one extra box left and of course we can't let it go to waste
.
I'd have to say I get off track with all the holiday/seasonal foods they have out. Like now they have all the pumpkin stuff on the shelves - so I just gotta try all of them!! Pumpkin seed brittle, pumpkin biscotti, pumpkin spice coffee, pumpkin this and that!!!

@rebelann

I love empanadas, but I don't think I've ever had a pumpkin empanada! We get Argentine ones from the farmer's market, either chicken, beef, or spinach/cheese. We roast kabocha with nothing on it except some oil - we appreciate the pure taste of pumpkin too!

Holy smoly @much2say I've never seen those kinds around here, like pot pies?
We mostly get the Mexican style which a lot of locals here had to "upgrade" to American style or TexMex style which is just plain toooo sweet for me.
Now I'm having vision of spinach/cheese with chicken empanada's

I don't like that store so I never shop there. I did check it out a couple times but they didn't have anything I'd buy.

I can understand that, lucky for me that they don't carry my favorite clothing items like jeans and tunics. I have a bad back so I have to be really careful what kind of shoes I buy, I wanted to say cheap because I wish I could wear the cheap ones.1 person likes this

Oh sorry @DianneN that's my lower back that's involved, I was a Keypunch/Data Entry Operator for 40 years so my lumbar is not in the best of shape.
As for the upper back, well as long as I don't overdo it when gardening or doing other things I'm ok, just need to remember what the surgeon told me I can't ever do again.

I am sitting here hiding in my home trying to avoid to go shopping. I know once I go I will be spending much and will be lost in all the festive delights out there. It's Diwali time here!

Just make sure to check the bottom of all websites you look at before you try to purchase anything @Daljinder I do that to keep myself safe from hackers and so far it's worked well for me. The shopping I did yesterday was around town so that I could talk to people I know. Today I might check out the websites for items I need but I never buy BS, usually I buy food either for myself or my pets

@rebelann I might be sitting at home but I have been searching the crap out of online shopping sites. lol I have things to send Australia but man that country has some strict regulations. I have been scratching my head for what to buy which won't get destroyed or worse fined at the customs.

Sounds about right. They come out with so many beautiful tins during Christmas and that is my downfall, usually I give the cookies away as gifts and keep the tins.
