Disney World Florida closing at 5:00 PM today

Due to the weather that is anticipated in Florida, Walt Disney World in Orlando will be closing at 5:00 PM today and will remain closed all day Friday.
Disney World in Florida has been around for 45 years and in all that time this will only be the 5th time it closed.
It is far better to be safe for the visitors and employees alike. I am sure Walt Disney would agree.
This is a very dangerous storm and all precautions should be taken.

I was so surprised when I saw that Disney was closing but I guess the hurricane takes priority and certainly the safety of the tourists and employees are the most important.

So far it doesn't seem to have been as bad as they predicted, but its far from over.

We know of two couples who are vacationing in South Carolina. One couple has chosen to head home. The other couple is staying. I think they are being a bit irresponsible and inconsiderate of their hosts.

I think all the parks, etc. in Orlando closed. Best to be safe.
