TGIF I think

This is Gracie and her baby Spunky in 1991, aren't they adorable?

Fridays have a new meaning for me now, it marks the beginning of the 3 days I will not go out shopping. Well, now that it is October I will have to make sure I am fully stocked so that I will not need to shop when all the crazies are out and about buying their holiday goodies. The last thing I want is to catch someones cold or flu and if I have to shop during the next 3 months I need to make sure it is during that time of day when few people are out and about, especially those people with the flu or a cold. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The above photo has nothing to do with this discussion, I just wanted to share a photo I took back in 1992 of my sweet Gracie and her new kitten Spunky. They were a bonded pair.

I always go shopping in the middle of the week at noon when there is almost nobody around.I fear the germs of the others.

Me too, the last thing I want or need is to become ill because someone else with the flu or something decided to go shopping when they are the most contagious

@rebelann People should be more considerate. When they are sick, they should stay at home.

I wish they would @LadyDuck but for some reason they feel it's necessary to go shopping while they're sick or worse, they drag their poor little kids out shopping when they're sick.

Love the photo. Alas, Saturday morning is shopping time for us, work means mid-week restocking is not possible, although a top-up shop - milk, bread, fruit, is de-rigeur en-route home once or so a week. What does not kill you makes you stronger...

Your photo of your pets is really a nice touch. Thanks for reminding us-time to avoid all of that!

I'm praying that all my friends here and else where do NOT catch the flu or any other nasty illness this season or next.

I don't blame you for lessening the risk of catching a cold or flu, but you'll be lucky if you avoid them altogether. (I'm back )

That is such a good point ...... there goes that bubble Maybe I won't be able to completely avoid those sickos but maybe with a mask over my mouth they'll keep away from me out of fear ...... what do you think? Glad you're back.

Recently I bought some of those facial masks that are antiviral, I have noticed that a lot of people do not stay home when they are ill.

Keep Cold EZE on hand in your home. If you get near anyone with a cold use the product and you will not get a cold. I'll be getting my Flu shot soon and that is free even in the US.(I saw the sign at Walmart last week when I crossed the border)
