Do the parts of candy corn have different flavors?

Firstly, if you haven't asked me a question on my AMA, or if you have another one, please go ask, I need distractions, and any question is ok, serious silly or otherwise.
Secondly, because of one of the discussion this morning I got to thinking...candy corn. Some love it, some hate it. I like it, but have to watch how much I eat, because it is super easy to overeat on it. But the colors...on regular candy corn, do they taste different?
Google has all kind's of theories out there, and none seem too be from an ACTUAL candy company.
Some say yes, some say now, some have even done experiments.
I think it does, that white bit never seems to have the same flavor, but.... is it in my head? What do you think?

Candy corn always tastes the same to me: pure sugar. I have bitten off each colored section and never tasted a difference.

Sure - the brown (chocolate) tastes totally different from the orange/white/yellow.

I can taste a difference but the difference is most between the white and the yellow. The orange is kind of in the middle in both position and flavor. I've done the whole breaking the candy into thirds and testing it thing. The flavor difference is subtle and for all I know it might be just due to the varying thickness of the candy? Still, all three sections have different coloring, at the very least, and that could affect flavor. It seemed like I noticed a difference when I was young as well, when my taste buds weren't worn out by hot food. I also notice that Brach's brand is the best as far as flavor difference and lack of aftertaste.

brach's is indeed the best, I wont eat generic, it's usually really gross, and perhaps you are on to something, maybe the difference IS in the thickness.

Hi, Jekca: Wow, it's ironic that you said that, because during the month of Halloween I always buy a bag of candy corn candy just for I can take and bite the top of the white head of the candy off to go ahead and eat the sweet part and then I eat the orange and yellow part together to give my taste-buds an even more sweeter and flavor-able desire. But my favorite part of the candy corn candy that I must say is the yellow part; it's got a more flavor-able taste to it to me. YUMMY - Happy MyLotting!
