This is the fun part, I get to format my shot or shots, you just have to choose which options you want to use and from here it's simply your choice, if you are really interested in how to do the images in Excel then you should be able to take it from here without a problem.
I used my intuition to learn what I know, how about you will you try your hand at it?
Let me know if you would like me to help out more.
Oh, those 2 pictures are mine to use as I please, I took them in the 1980s and both are film shots.

If it was a part of a package you bought then it was safer than simply finding it free on the web @LadyDuck I did that with an older PC I had and ended up with a worm that those fools at bestbuy called the geek squad said they had been able to remove. I no longer download directly from the web but if I buy a product like a scanner that has a free version included I would trust that.

Excel is a very versatile app, I've explained what to do in the other 2 discussions I wrote.

Hi! I haven't tried it yet. Is it possible to save those images that we inserted in MS Excel with a .jpg extension?

@rebelann Oh, I think you are smarter than me in Excel. I only use excel for computations of grades.

I've just been at it longer @annierose I think Excel is one of those aps that we learn to use as we go.

Just wanted to share how I did the images.

I never really use excel, I use Paint with my pictures.

I use paint as well but you can't do as much with it as you can with Excel. I also don't like that once you've put text or something in your shot you can't edit it in paint whereas in Excel I can go back and edit anything I place on a photo or even if I just want to reconfigure the shot.
