What's It Take to Get Warm

My apartment is chilly. My office is the coldest. So I took matters into my own hands today, bit the bullet for the heating bill and raised the thermostat to 75, turned on my heater in my office and closed the door. I'm finally warm.
I can imagine the neighbor upstairs is quite comfortable since heat rises. I don't like sitting in here shivering all day for nothing. I've had the heater on but the door open and it didn't even feel like I had it on. It does now. I'm toasty.
I know I could put on a few more sweaters and socks for my feet, but that never made me feel warmer.
I'll turn the thermostat down before I go to bed otherwise I'll wake from a headache in the morning from being too warm. I know, can't win for losing.
So what do you do to get warm this time of year?
Thanks for reading.

@crazyhorseladycx It's pretty good, actually. I live on the bottom floor and heat rises, so I just need to take that into consideration. When I moved in I didn't need to put the A/C on very much because as we all know cold air descends. I'm sure I enjoyed the A/C from the person above me. Now the upstairs neighbor will enjoy my heat.

I put socks on. I refuse to keep turning the heat up high. I did a few days ago and got it warm in here and then turned it down again. With my daughter cooking now the heat comes up here and I have to open my window for a few minutes in the evening after dinner. I will wear my pajamas later in the year. My BFF sent me a nice afghan that she crocheted for me so that is on my bed now.

@celticeagle Most likely, though we call them Indian summers. It's nice again today.

I know the feeling when t's so cold , becoz at the office the centralized airconditioner is so cold too . i would put on blazer and shawl on my head , but still t would be so cold . good thing , i always urinate so i have to walk out of the office just to get to the outside comfort room , and t gives me so much warmth because outside the weather is hot .

@Jessicalynnt Yesterday we broke records. It hit 71 in Green Bay and I heard some parts of Wisconsin got to 77. Today not so much. Our high today will only be the high 50's.

This morning I'm fine so far. I turned down the thermostat before I went to bed last night.

I got in my bedroom and turn in the heat. It doesn't take long to get toasty warm. We shut it off before we go to bed because we like it cool when we sleep.
