I just finished reading a post by @LovingMyBabies called ~New Visitor Might Be Coming~ that had my blood boiling. I believe that Jennifer and her family are terrific for taking in an aunt that is being kicked out by her own son. My understanding is that this woman took Jennifer's husband in when he was 13 years old and abandoned by his parents. She treated him as though he was her own child. It reminded me of the life of one of my son-in-laws. His father was raising him and when he died the mother chose alcohol instead of him. She wanted to keep her party life and not be tied down with an 11 year old. His step sister, who he had never met, took him in and raised him. He has turned out to be a wonderful successful person who ran the risk of virtually living on the streets. I think there is a special place in heaven for those who help out like this in a time of need. I think Jennifer and her family, along with her aunt, my son-in-laws step sister and any other person who puts out a helping hand and gives of their heart. Oh thank you so much for the kind words you wrote here! My husband and I try hard to treat others the way Jesus would. We love being able to help when we can. In this small way we can make a difference and we are grateful for being able to help. =)

You are an example of an earth angel for some of us. You live you life in a way that you can be proud of your action. I am honored to call you a friend.

Yes - I read her post too. Jennifer + her family are really nice to take her husband's aunt in the family That is a very sweet story of how your son in law's step sister who never met took him in at rough times!

Yes, I read this also. So very sad that some people think this way. The lady's son that is. We humans really do need to help one another. The world has become such a hurried place and no one caring about the other. I think we need to make our own little corners of the world as nice and comforting as we can. My hat is definitely off to Jennifer and her family.

It is the people who do extend a helping hand that make the world a wonderful place.

People that take in other people are really good helping people. They help out others and do not expect anything in return.

That type of person will be rewarded in the afterlife.

It's good when you can do that. I know the other side of the coin. My kids have taken advantage of me so much and abused my hospitality that my oldest is no longer welcome under my roof. I don't need his foul language directed toward me for all I did for him in keeping him off the streets.

There are some that get chance after chance and have used them all up. There are those who need a chance and take advantage of it to make a good life for themselves and make the person who helped proud. It is such a shame that there are some that throw their chances away.

Jennifer, her husband and her beautiful children are a wondeful family who have huge hearts. I always love reading her post about her happy little family. There are angels here on earth and they are some of them. Bless her heart for reaching and helping her aunt when she needed them. Sad that the aunts own family turned their back on her. That is just terrible.

They do have big hearts and enough love to spread around. I would be ashamed if I were the son.
