Finished in record time

This year I can't believe how fast I finished the Holiday Story. Each year one of my parents (this year my Dad) writes a story, and I illustrate it. I try to get it done by Thanksgiving. This year I got it done tonight! I think it's because there are fewer illustrations this time, and also because I'm getting better at pen and ink illustrations. Faster, too. The picture is one of the illustrations for the book.
Honestly, I love being able to draw faster! And I really enjoy pen and ink. It used to be the bane of my existence but now it's one of my favorite media.
Is there anything you used to be bad at, that's now your favorite thing?

I am better at reading knitting patterns now. Or I can look at a hat and pretty much figure out the pattern if it isn't too complicated.

It's been a nice feeling. There have been times when it's taken nearly a whole month to get them all done! Mostly because of procrastination.

Your family makes a Holiday story every year and turns it into a book with illustrations?
That is a very unique idea. 
I used to have doubts about my writing skills ....i always loved writing but it never felt like it was the best i could do.... i have been getting better.
