Woke you at 2.am for breakfast. Is currently trying to sit on you as it is now officially breakfast time despite there being food in the bowl from the 2.am breakfast? Is looking at you until you get up and get breakfast.

Scar has this endearing (pronounced a*noy*ing) habit of wanting the food bowl 'topped off' after every 10 or so bites. He also enjoys tugging on my goatee if I won't get up and let him outside at 2 AM to go say hello to the raccoons.

@Jackalyn @JolietJake I think your two cats should get together and keep each other amused through the night - in a manner of speaking.

@JudyEv The poor guy just forgot he was sleeping on top of the receiver...he stretched, yawned, and promptly rolled over into thin air

Cats are funny, the cat of my neighbor does the same, he calls me and he does not eat until I cuddle him a bit. He knows I wake up around 5:30 and he starts to meow outside the door as soon as he sees the light on in the kitchen.

@HAPPSINGH Thank you. I respect all the animals because they are living creatures, like the humans.

Sorry that your cat woke you up so early. I don't have any cats, so I don't really have any experience with them. Hopefully, it doesn't happen often.

Some cats are too tyrannical for their own good, don't you think? :)

In a word, yes. I seem to be getting a cat "get my breakfast" spiel from an entitled feline!

What would you call that behavior, determined or stubborn?
