Some people have their own preparation in choosing the right outfit for a job interview. It would be fine to use the ample time to search online or asks people their opinions. The safest thing to do is to check out the common outfit used by the employees in the company that you are targeting to apply for. 1. We need to iron our formal attire before the interview. 2. Pick a dark-colored suit with a perfect tie. 3. Never fasten all the buttons while wearing a suit. 4. Take the time polishing a pair of shoes. 5. Avail a breath mint or chew a gum before the interview. Image Credit: pixabay.com

These are very good tips - and I like your idea of checking out what other employees are wearing.

Well, not only to go to an interview, this is the way I like to see my husband dressed when we go out to a restaurant.

have you ever worn a suit and tie to an interview? i've only seen my past bosses do so at very important company events or meetings with vips. when i'm in public transportation, i do notice some forget to clean their shoes as a final touch, even though the rest of the outfit, even the hair, makeup, jewelry and bag are great.

I had tried once. I think it all depends on what corporation you wanted to apply for. However, it is commonly in western countries.

Very useful post you made. I think if all men read this before they went to the interview, they would look more professional.
