Crowdtap has made a change - did you know??

I had not been paying much attention to Crowdtap, even though I only needed 93 more points to claim my reward. This morning I finally went in and finished...good for me. I earned by 1,000 points.
Up until today, when I hit the 1,000 points and received a message regarding that, my page would show I need 1,000 to the next reward. Today it said the next reward will come when I get 1,500 points.
I guess people were earning too may $5 rewards so they made it a little harder. Did anyone notice when this change took place?

I had no idea, I haven't used crowdtap in a while. It makes sense as to why they have done that. At least it is not an absurd increase, but I bet many people are frustrated.

I like doing the stuff for 20 points, so it does add up a lot faster compared to the 2 points polls.

It is the kind of place you can spend 5 mins. or more, whatever time you have. If you do the 20 point items you will get to the goal faster, but the 2 point 'polls' add up fast too.

I enjoyed it while I was getting the $5 cards, then it changed so much that I've just quit. Too hard to earn so many points.

I don't spend much time there, I had been earning two/month - now one a month - its free so I'll go there when I get bored other places.

I've been complaining mines always been 1,000 points as well then it increased to 1,500 back to 1,000 now I'm at 1,500 for $5 Amazon!

@AbbyGreenhill It happened to me a few months ago I believe during 'maintenance'. I had a rant on myLot about it.. now its 1,500

I think it depends on what level you arw in & the higher the level the more points you have to get. I have to 1500 points now but my boyfriend still only has to get 1000 & he is about $30-40 behind me. I still find it pretty easy to get the points though. I am probably going to cash out again tomorrow.
