I am discovering the properties of a seed that grows in the Andes, mostly in Perú and Bolivia. The properties are multiple and we can use it instead of rice, pasta and potatoes.
It has omega3 and 6, more proteins that other side dishes and also has more fiber.
Have you eaten quinoa?

I´m sure you can find it. And there are several recipes online.

@DesirousDreamer You don´t have to give up anything. But you can ADD other ingredients to your diet.

It is also wonderful for people with high cholesterol and triclycerid levels.

It has more fiber content than other side dishes.

I haven't tried quinoa although I've heard good things about it. I'm a bit suspicious about new foods sometimes and worry that I won't like it and will have wasted my money.
