Another Obstacle

I had to reschedule my Pain Management visit from 11/16 to 11/30. They called and told me that I had to have a Kentucky drivers license. I still have a Tennessee drivers license and should have already transferred it to Kentucky but kept putting it off. I went on 11/15 to get it and they needed my social security card. I lost my card several years ago in the move when I moved in with my brother. I know, I should have already requested a copy of it but it was another thing I put on the back burner to do at another time. I went yesterday and requested a copy which I should get in 3-5 business days. That should give me enough time to get my license changed to take to my visit. I just pray that I will pass the eye exam because I really need new glasses but can't afford it right now. Keeping my fingers crossed on that one. If it's not one thing, it's another but it's all my fault for not taking care of it before now. Have I said lately that I am a big procrastinator? Are you a procrastinator?

I really wish I wasn't a procrastinator and I try hard not to be but it doesn't always work. Now, when I was working I didn't put things off.

I am definitely a procrastinator. “Never put off till tomorrow what may be done day after tomorrow just as well.” lol I am glad it all worked out for you though and you will have your new driver's license soon.

I am not so much but it seems I have so much to do in these days of old age and disability a lot gets behind. and sadly I thought all I would need is to sit back and watch tv and sit on the porch these days. lol

I seem to do it a lot if it's something that I don't really want to do.

I am a bit procrastinator, but not for the important things, like documents renewals, bills and so on.

You're getting it now and that's the main thing. I hope you pass the eye exam as well. Yes, I tend to procrastinate.

Thanks, I hope I pass it too. But I can always get a Kentucky ID like @crazyhorseladycx said.

Yes, unfortunately, I am a big procrastinator. And sometimes we have to pay dearly for that, don't we?

I used to be but too many things happening like what you're experiencing cured me of most of it. I hope everything works out so you get to the next appointment.

You would think that what I just went through would cure me but I'm sure I will still be the same way.

I never used to be a procrastinator but yes, I've become one and I don't like it. Your post has given me renewed reasons to get my act together! I hope things begin to work out for you in a more positive way!

Yes, sometimes. I always like to postpone things. But sometimes, I am so eager to finish it all at once.

I know what you mean. I get eager to finish things every now and then but most of the time, I put things off.
