I'm just curious, does anyone else still use AOL mail, because I've been having trouble.

AOL, or America Online was a dialup internet provider. I don't think they have their internet service anymore, though. In fact the last time I saw of them were prepaid internet cards, and that was easily 15 years ago.
I have their email service though I never did have their internet.
In any case, I've tried getting on to check my email several times but it always re-directs me beforehand and states continuing would be a security risk to my computer.
So has anyone else had this trouble with AOL MAIL if they still have it, or any other e-mail carrier?

So he still has the aol internet service? I'm asking specifically about the email service myself.

@akalinus I got this one ten years ago. Previously, I was primarily using yahoo or hotmail. I even have a live (microsoft) email account and a gmail account as well.

@ScribbledAdNauseum He has an AOL email. I have another friend that also uses it. I was surprised because not many people use it anymore.

I have an email account with them, but it is a back up email that I don't check often. Since you mention this, I will check it and see if I have a problem. In the past, I never had a problem.

Please let me know. I even ran my virus scanners to make sure it wasn't some sort of weird virus but my computer is clean.
It's not a necessity to get on at the moment, but I would like to do so all the same.

I originally had AOL because it came free with my first computer. But, I had so much trouble with them I quit AOL and went to Yahoo and have been with Yahoo for as long as I can remember with very few problems.

The biggest problem I have with aol is that it seems not all emails will go through. There are sites, especially earning sites, that state specifically not to sign up with an aol email because the emails won't go through for them.

@ScribbledAdNauseum ......That's why I like Yahoo. I have never had that problem. It picks up automatically all links that come into my email and puts in my contacts. And the junk file is great as well.

No - I do not sorry.
Will you upgrade to a different email provider eventually?

I have two others hehe but this one is where any work related emails go to, and I really rather not have to fuss with changing it.

It comes up with it being a privacy error. I haven't tried it in another web browser, but I'm using chrome to try to check my email. My malware checker doesn't block it for me, so it should be safe but at the same time? I don't want to risk it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I use Chrome and I do not have this problem. It is possible that the security issue comes from your Internet provider.
