Yep, I'm officially going to see the New Kids On The Block on June 25th, 2017, in Washington, DC.
It's the Total Package Tour, so we'll also be seeing Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men.
I wasn't sure if I was going to have transportation, so that's why I got a little quiet in regards to the tour (which was announced on Tuesday), but I found out late last night that I would be able to go. I'm going with my older sister (who introduced me to NKOTB when I was 4yrs old) and my brother-in-law.
The tickets went on sale this morning and I was almost too picky for my own good. I could only afford cheaper seats, and I kept "searching again" and then got the error message a few times. So I finally just settled on some seats so I didn't miss out completely.
Section 414; so we're pretty far up, but I'm about to start Christmas shopping soon, I cannot afford to pay more.
If the venue allows it, I may try to upgrade the seats (basically you pay the difference and sit closer) within the next few months; but not before Christmas. I'm waiting to hear back on upgrades to even know if it's possible, and if so, how to go about doing it. Until then, at least I know I'm going to the concert. -Whew-
I wasn't excited at first, due to the cheap seats. :-/ But the more I listen to my NKOTB playlist, the more excited I get to see the guys again. If they play the Mixtape Festival again, I can always see if anyone is interested and maybe get closer seats to that one. I'm a little worried because the 400s section is steep, so if I can at least upgrade to the 200s, that'd be just fine by me.
Either way, I'm going to be seeing NKOTB for the second time next year, soo woo!

Thank yoooou! I'm more worried about the steep seats than anything. How am I supposed to dance if I'm afraid to stand lol? :p I'll have to deal with it because I surely can't sit down haha. If an upgrade happens, I'll definitely let you know, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm just glad to be going! :)

@tammys85 I'm glad you are too. I once went to a concert with my parents who always got the cheap seats in the nosebleed section. They were steep also and I was scared out of my wits because of it. If I ever go back to that theater, I'll be getting lower seats.

It is good to get to do what you love. I hope you can upgrade later. I think it is wise to at least save a seat.

Thank yoooou! I hope so too, especially since I hate steep rows; makes me nervous lol. I'm waiting to hear back from the venue, and IF they say yes, I gotta see how to go about doing that and then save, save, save. I'm not upgrading (or buying the NKOTB hat I've had my eye on) until after the holidays though.

@GardenGerty - Just an update, but they do not offer seat upgrades. It's all good though, aside from the steep incline, I'm excited to still see my boys again. :D
