Floor Cleaners

I have one of the floor cleaners that cleans by itself while I'm typing on Mylot. Two years ago I asked my husband for a vacuum cleaner and told him the only thing important was the weight. I have in the closet a very heavy Kirby and lifting it out of the closet was hurting my back. Meet Della Street yes named for the secretary on Perry Mason. What type of vacuum cleaner do you have now? We have just started as you can see now.

Laughing Out Loud and I'll admit when we turned her on the first time wondered how I was going to keep her from hauling off with items that she isn't suppose to eat. I watch her in the bedroom, as she has been known to be unhappy when she has consumed something not for eating.

@crazyhorseladycx No it wasn't jewelry, but every small thing on the bedroom floor was disappearing. She was eating dropped money and beginning to think my husband was feeding her.

Very hard worker in my house. It sounded like a poor choice when i saw what they cost, but this one has been busy. I'm glad my husband thought its a good gift choice.

We don't have any floor cleaner. I just finished scrubbing and sweeping the floor after the construction that went on here a few days ago. Ugh. Wish I had magic to clean it up in a jiffy.

I chuckled reading your post. Yes, Della Street is really great and allows me to have time for other things. Thanks for posting.

I have one similar to the one in your photo that I use to clean the upper floor and a dirty devil that I use to clean the main floor.

The only areas she can't get to are the tiny spaces and wondered how many have a hand holding machine. They really look good and easy to use. I'm not putting it on my husbands list, as I can only imagine what he would spend for floor cleaning.

I know many people that have removed the carpets and it was considered when my children were young. It was challenging getting the carpets clean every time it rained or my family went camping. We did a lot of camping in Girl Scouts.

My husband decided that would be the easiest way for him to not have to clean. I use to enjoy running the vacuum when I had a light weight one in college, then came the heavy Kirby. Thanks for posting.

I have been wanting one of those, seems so convenient. =) Maybe one day, I know they are expensive. Right now I have a light weight dirt devil and I do love it.

I love light weight machines, as had the Kirby a lot of years. I use to tell people its time to lift weights and our house needed weight lifting twice a week. When my children were home they would bring in what I thought was all the dirt outside and part of the school dirt. We lived next to the school and they could at that time come home for lunch. Times have really changed for parents today.
