I am really excited to know that my neighbor has given birth to her newborn baby girl last night, AT HOME! We even chatted in the playground the night before, and she sent me a message telling me that her home birth went well. I am glad everything went smoothly and I am sure she is still taking a good rest now. I am going to visit her perhaps a month later and find out more about her home birth experience. It's always a joy to welcome a newborn baby to the world. Have you thought of giving birth at home?

@vaishu0106 @prabir12345 I think we have to first gain the knowledge on how-to, then only we'll gain the confidence on doing so. I have a few friends doing home birth, and some even suggested me to do so when I was pregnant with my second child. I didn't have the confidence on doing so, especially my first child was going through emergency c-section. Well, now all my three children were coming through c-sections.

No, I never gave it a thought. My father was born at home, but that was back in the day when it was more common.

Yes, I never thought nowadays there are some people doing home birth until I heard from this group of friends. My friends advised me to give it a try when I was pregnant with my second child, but as I went through emergency c-section when giving birth to my first child, so I was not confident to give it a try on my own.

How nice that she did it even just at home safely and well. My Mom was also just giving birth at home and we were seven born at home.

I would have been in a lot of trouble if I'd given birth at home but I'm pleased it went well for your neighbour. It is always exciting when a new child is born.

How nice it is! She can be your children's good friends Try to imagine when she grows up a little, all the children will play around and it is a lot of fun.

i really admire women who go for natural birth. i can't even imagine the pain and risks they are taking while giving birth. giving birth at home with the help of a midwife in some countries are not allowed. i gave birth at the hospital and without the epidural anesthesia.... i was probably crying screaming cursing in the labor room.
