I watched Florence on so many shows including game shows, Dancing With The Stars in 2010, and of course The Brady Bunch where she played the Mom and always found a solution from 1969 to 1974. I always thought if she can solve the problem with six children, then two children should be easy.
Sadly, I was stunned when she passed away November 24, 2016 from heart failure at 82. She will be missed by so many people that watched her over the many years and her children. Watching her cook in the kitchen in recent years was really special and some of may remember her with a bottle of oil in a commercial.

I know there are several actors that I'm looking up and realize time has gone by fast. 2016 is almost over and I can't figure out where the time has gone. Its almost time to welcome in another year.

I was stunned too, especially since only two days earlier she was at the DWTS finale. I watched The Brady Bunch every day when I came home from school after its regular Friday night run. Hard to believe it only ran 5 years because I watched it forever. She was a shining star and will be missed.

Florence Henderson and Robert Reed always felt like they were the ideal parents, as off camera and on they always had great things to say. Robert Reed bought cameras for all the kids, so they could remember all the places the show visited through the years. Its a sign that I need to get more items done on my to do list now.

Loved Florence Henderson. One of the great TV moms of the '70 s. May she rest in peace.

I miss hearing her voice already. She had been doing a cooking show in recent years. I'll go back and watch the episodes tomorrow.

Do you get the program Dancing With The Stars? She was on it watching Maureen McCormick, who played her oldest daughter on The Brady Bunch. The cast was close even though The Brady Bunch was a long time ago. Its so sad knowing the people that played the parents and the house keeper have passed now.

@LadyDuck Yes, that does make sense. We do have people that are stars in this country only. She was in the business over 50 years, so its hard to not see her on my television.

@Fishmomma The program "Dancing with the Stars" exist in every country and it is different for every country, because the local stars perform in the program. Our show is not the same you have in the United States and not even the same that it is broadcast in France or Germany.
