Great Big Globs of Snow

Today the snow that had fallen was starting to melt and everywhere great big globs of snow were plopping from trees and roofs. Our cat Sid was not happy at all. Due to the cold weather my hubby had a very painful back so he couldn’t get out to do any shoveling. So every time the cat had to go out he came back with a belly fur full of snow and a very grumpy look. I also didn’t try to venture out because due to the cold my sciatic nerve has been stabbing me painfully all day. Anyway to amuse myself I remembered a very silly song that I sang with my friends in grade school and it went great green gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts etc. Yes, pretty terrible but I included it anyway and today I changed the word to accommodate – great white globs of snow plopping down etc. How many of you knew this song from childhood? I’m originally from the states but I found an Australian version of this song and I thought it sounded a whole lot classier so I added that.
Eurgh! Here’s a song that the scouts love to sing - Great Green Gobs of Greasy Grimy Gopher Guts with lyrics. Join us and sing-along. :-) Subscribe to Aussie...

Australian? Classy? I think maybe that's an oxymoron. :) Great song. I've never heard it before.

Guess it depended on where you lived, your friends and if anyone in your school picked up this song @JohnRoberts
