I love Quotes

I love quotes, especially from people who know what they are talking about. People who have done something remarkable with their lives usually say interesting things.
When I was young I had a note book in which I wrote down quotes that spoke to me or gave me a fresh insight. I remember meeting another young woman who also had a notebook full of quotes that spoke to her.
This young woman kindly photocopied her book and gave me a copy. We had many quotes in common but there were lots of new ones in her notebook and so I was in seventh heaven to get this copy.
What she shared with me was a real blessing. So I thought today that I would share a quote that I came across today in the hope that it will be a blessing to you.

Now that is worth pondering on don't you think?

that's brilliant! makes me wish i'd still mine from years back...but that'd be a long story, lol. mr. twain 's many quotes that're well worth their salt, this bein' one. i used to say 't oft to my mamaw. she worried 'bout schtuff that didn't e'en 'xist, lol.

@crazyhorseladycx I just popped in to catch up on comments I missed when the post was posted, and I saw your lovely name there. I think there is more than a hint of Twain in some of your humour. One thing is for sure you are both worth your salt

@maggs224 Yes, it is.. Strangely, when I return a grocery cart to it's proper place, instead of leaving it in the parking area, I always think of that quote.

I think most of my favorite quotes come from the Bible. Like Proverbs 12:9. "Better to be a nobody and yet have a servant than pretend to be somebody and have no food."

That is such a joyful photo - really lovely. That's a good quote. I love quotes too but never thought about keeping copies of them. Mark Twain has some beauties didn't he?
