The Date

Today I went on a little date. It wasn't much. We just went to his place, watched Elf and he took me home.
We would have hung out longer but since the whole situation with his grandmother happened last night, he was very tired.
Hopefully next time we will actually do something, perhaps walk around the park or go to the mall.
He is a nice person, very very sweet. Just sleepy haha
But I did get to pet a cat. So...that was pretty wonderful.

I've been married for the last 41 years. We still try to have the occasional "date" even if it's just going out for a coffee.
