If you could spend Christmas in a different locale... where would it be? / myLot

A lot of my friends wouldn't trade staying at home for Christmas... for the world. What about you. If you were offered a vacation somewhere else for Christmas, would you have to think about it for a while, would you grab the opportunity or turn it down. As of right now, I would definitely take the trip! I did think about it a few years ago. I was sure that I would hate it... I was so wrong!!

We have spent many Christmas not at home. Some times in sunny places others in cold countries. As I associate Christmas with the snow, I prefer to spend Christmas in a cold country, like Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

I would go back home, back east, to visit my family there. My children and grandchild are here but my sister, stepmother, and other relatives are back there in that lovely snow. I would like to go there again. I live in the desert now, it's awful.

I live in the Caribbean and I have experienced four white Christmases in North America-- the last one some twenty years ago. I won't mind having another white Christmas for a change.

I would go anywhere. Except on Christmas time. That day I spend it with my family.
