Its been ages . .

Not by choice have I been absent from writing and chatting with everyone here at MyLot but as a result of "Business" that ended in "Laryngitis" and some slow down time needed to recuperate. My hubby says that when I get going - I spin like a top, and eventually when life catches up, I drop like a top! Oh dear - I am feeling a little better today - Antibiotics could not be avoided and it seems to be a yearly thing (almost this time every year) that I get laryngitis that hits me to the ground. First that sore, scratchy, burning throat that feels like someone has stuck hot coals down ones larynx, then some fever, then some throat swelling, then NO VOICE which is the worst especially when everyone tries to call you on the phone . . . and then BED rest, voice rest, just REST! I baked biscuits today as the mercury dropped to a low 27C (81F) which made the kitchen bearable to use. I made 16 (1kg) Tins for all my friends and family and hopefully we have enough for home as well. My youngest daughter M helped me bake and while we were busy we played Christmas Carols all morning. Boney M, Neil Diamond, Michael Buble, Mariah Carey and a few others - I dont have the oldies with Bing Crosby which I would love, but the option is to download for the next time. I hope you have all been well - I have missed the chats and because it will take too long to FLASH BACK - I shall look forward to the new reads.
