A Surprise in the early am.

Good morning.After breakfast and getting myself ready to hit the club.
Mike normally take Ms.Ruby out for her walk.
While brushing my teeth and heard Ms.Ruby barking.
I went to the door and Mike said that there is a big dog at the door?
Sure enough and a sweet looking boxer and pit bull mix not sure.
Mike fed the dog and stay with her .He call the dispatcher and telling about the dog.She had a dog tag but we could not identify it.
Was she out in the cold all night?then I noticed some scratches under the neck
Not bad.We could not bring her in the house because of Ms.Ruby
Not sure what the personality of the dog was.We got her in the hallway till the officer came by.This sort of bother me as it is very cold out there.
As now we did not hear from anyone on the happening.
I must say that she was very sweet.
The photo is not her,but to give you an idea on the animal.
She was a very good dog.

I hope someone did not hurt her and then abandon her and if it was cold that is so cruel. You guys were so nice to make sure she was taken care of . Not everyone cares. Thank you so much and I hope she is ok. Someone came to me yesterday that I know and she told me she found a little kitten and have not heard if the kitten lived or not. I will try and call her.

did you hear the latest there.I heard t his on the news.Puppies just being born there was a least five of them.
In a bag they dump in in the river.How cruel is this.Yes,they saved them.I gleam with joy.
They are not trying to find the person who is responsible for this.

Alfredo, that is very sad that they do not want to find who is doing it and do something to that person. It makes me sick that people do these things and get away with it. Something should be done about it to protect defenseless animals. They need us to stick up for them.

It's so hard to decide what to do when this happens. I am a bleeding heart when it comes to animals. You did the right thing and hopefully they will be able to reunite her with the owner.

Thank you for feeding her and making her comfortable while help arrived. A lot of people wouldn't do that and would be afraid of a mixed breed like that. I do hope she finds her way home.

@dragon54u Yes,I was or we were a little leering on this.But we fed her and she seems happy.
But those sad eyes got me.

Glad the dog found a warm place until help arrived. Hopefully the owners were not being neglectful, especially in this cold.

At least you have someone to call for such things. Our county has no animal control at all. If dog shows up on our door we have to figure out what to do.

I have had lost hunting dogs show up here a few times. They have obviously been on the lam for months as they are have starving and exhausted when they show up.

I hope her people look for her and find her, I would have done the same thing you did because I don't know what Ally would do if I let a stray in her yard let alone our home.
