My son came home from college today. After days of anticipation and preparation, he is home for the holidays. This got me thinking about how important home is, wherever or whatever it is. Home is not just made of walls and material possessions, rather it is where family lives and friends gather. It is where love resides. Home is somewhere you can leave and return to no matter where you roam. My son is home for the holidays and I am the happiest mom in the world. What does home mean to you?

Sorry to hear you can't get there now but I am sure it will be very rewarding when you do.

That was beautiful. You have the right idea. I think home means the same to me too. It is tradition and comfort and love.

We've just got to appreciate our home whatever or where ever it is.
