Soup is the perfect food on the freezing cold day we are having here.
Soup is always enjoyed here, no matter what the season. However, when it is in the below freezing, we especially hot vegetable soup.
This soup is cabbage, tomato, lima bean, onion, garlic, kale and so much more.
Always vegan and without gluten to meet the needs of everyone here.
The soup pot has been on the stove since early a.m. and will be there until the last person has their final meal of the day.
What are you doing to feel better about the cold?

I love soups in winter. We have a mild climate where I live, but I wear warm clothings and warm socks.

We had some leftover today. It just gets better as it gets a bit older.

This is our last warm day for about a week, at least. It will reach 76 today then will be in the 60s. Hooray!! But I'm eating chili right now that I made yesterday from the ground chicken I partially burned Monday! I particularly like my meatball soup but I haven't had it for a few years. I might make it next week when it's "cold".

That vegetable soup must have given you energy for the cold day. I always get the right clothing for the cold weather; I may also choose the best food for the cold

We just use whatever is left from previous meals. Not fancy, but always good.

Soup is always a winner here. We could probably all survive on just that!

We were in Florida a few weeks ago. We brought cold weather with us, I am told! For some reason, it is usually not 'good' weather when we go.
