God is just too good...

This might seem like an odd thing to wonder about... But I often marvel at why God is so good to me. The weird part is...God will be even nicer to me, when people aren't. I guess to encourage me. I don't know... I wanted to do something nice for someone who had been a blessing to me, since I've moved back to the beaches. I really did not have the money to get this person anything. However...I had something that was in really good condition, and felt that God told me to bless them with it. So earlier today, I delivered it to this individual. I really wasn't expecting anything from God, because of what I did... I just wanted to bless that person...that's it. Well... God decided to bless me anyway. Later on this afternoon...on two separate occasions, I was blessed again. The first time was with a $25 gas card to Exxon Mobile. This person said they wanted to give it to me as a Christmas gift. Then a short time later, I ran into someone else, who said that God wanted her to pay for my Christmas dinner. She wanted me to write a list of all the things that I needed, and she would go grocery shopping tonight, and I could pick the groceries up tomorrow afternoon. I told her I was wanting to do a ham, because I was burnt out on turkey. Because they were more expensive than a turkey, I wanted her to find the cheapest one she could find. She insisted that it did not matter, and that I was to tell her exactly what I needed to prepare my holiday feast. So I wrote down all that I needed, and gave the list to her. I guess the old saying..."that you can't outgive God"...really applies.
