The year is almost done and one of my new years resolution for this year was to teach my wife how to drive. Luckily we have two vehicles and as a christmas gift im giving my wife my Hyundai. We have been practicing the last two months and she is pretty confident and drives okay for a beginner. Her only issue is that she brakes too hard and gets a bit nervous when on the highway but I have faith she well turn out to be a good driver.
I washed the car earlier and bought new batteries for the car and im planning on buying 4 new tires and having the car aligned. I hope she enjoys her new car!

I am sure she will. The more she drives the more confident she will become. My daughter is going for her road test today. Fingers crossed that she will pass! Having a license gives you so much more freedom and independence.

@infatuatedbby Its a automatic, and very fuel efficient, we filled it up with liek 35 dollars a week ago and it still has more than half a tank

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Yeah, I know the feeling. I got my learner's permit renewed after not having it for such a long time, and I'm a little nervous when I drive, but I think that's normal. I'll get the hang of it, just like your wife will. It just takes practice. Good luck to her!

@dodo19 Yeah after a few months the feeling fades away, she drove to the supermarket earlier and called me excited and happy she was able to go on her own, it made my day

That's very sweet of you. It will be nervous to drive in the highway since there are more cars with high speed. Perhaps at the beginning it is better you sit besides her so that it will relax her and give her a little confidence. She will enjoy driving soon but always remember the safe is the most important.

a lot of that just takes time and practice, do some road trips when the traffic light and have her drive, I bet she will be fine in no time
