Another quiet day that proved to be full of surprises.
I discovered that the lovely neighbour I briefly exchanged some passionate embraces with a few months back is moving out in mid-January with her steady boyfriend. I wish them both well.
I mentioned the Christmas short stories book I am in to a friend who works for a local radio station, and she arranged for them to interview me live on air through the phone this afternoon, It was a very good interview. The other writers listened in as I messaged them to let them know it was on.
Soon after the interview I saw a copy of the local newspaper which also covers the book’s success, topping the Kindle download charts with 500 downloads in five days. A photo of many of the writers, including myself, accompanies the article.
After that there was little to do but relax and get things ready for my last day at work tomorrow.

@arthurchappell Still, there's always next year, and the year after that and so on. Selling only at Christmas still seems to bring in a nice bit of income for such as Noddy Holder!

@paigea it was a nice interview - though very fast paced as the show was close to its end, the interviewer was very friendly and genuinely enthusiastic about the subject which helps a great deal
