Here, in our part of the world, we have freezing rain on this morning of Boxing Day. This will certainly reduce the crowd of shoppers today.
Personally, I would not go anywhere on a freezing rain day like this one.
It looks very scary but still I can still cars speeding.
Do you drive or walk on a bad day like this?
I just hope that there won't be too many accidents.

That's a reason why I remain in Southern California where there is no snow or sleet and cold rain is rare.

It doesn't freeze rain or rain very often where I live. But it has been a wet one the past week. Today is clear and it's the day after Christmas with lots of sales, so I think it'll be going this year surprising because I don't want to shop in the crowd.
I hope there won't be too many accidents as well.
Have a nice day :)

Cars speed here too. The more it rains the faster they go even though they know they could get caught. Freezing rain is awful to walk on specially. Be careful if you do go out. I would not go out if I could help it. Better to make it and inside doors day and wait till tomorrow.

Rain and snow is not a good combination. Your decision not to step out is the right one.

We had rain overnight as well, But it's 49 here right now so thankfully it's not freezing. Stay safe.

@marlina That's good I don't want to fall on that ice either, I'm too old for that.

I can't think of any reason I would want to go out into the stores today!! But we have no freezing rain here.

@marlina Yes, it is horrible. One year we had freezing rain and it was several inches thick everywhere. Trees were covered and we could hear them popping and breaking everywhere around us. We had a huge tree in our backyard that covered our home and I was so afraid that it would fall on us but it didn't. Our power went out for a day and other people outside the city limits were without power for months. It was awful.

I see on the news there was a lot up that way. I hope there were not too many accidents because people seem to still go out. When we have freezing rain I don't go out unless I have to go to work

The picture does look great but not the situation. It will be very stifling not to go out on boxing, hope it improves.

You'd think people would have the sense to stay home when the weather is so bad.
