What could be better

I am at my girlfriends house in New Jersey for almost 3 weeks. My husband and I surprised our kids for Christmas, I should say we shocked the kids and grandkids. No one knew we were coming. We are staying at a friend's house which over looks Lake Hopatcong, the largest lake in the state. It is so beautiful waking up in the morning and the first thing I see out the window is the frozen lake. Pretty soon the snow mobiles will be riding by. What a way to start the day.

How wonderful, surprise like that are awesome. How long are you staying? 3 weeks seems really long. I would miss my home.

With the expenses of flying and car rentals we need to get our moneys worth. Haha. Good thing we have a friend that is letting us stay at her house.

It is cold enough that the lake is frozen...wow. I thought it was warm there.

The lake is frozen but not sure how thick. I don't see anyone ice fishing yet maybe at the other end.
