I took the kids shopping today to spend their Christmas money

Yesterday my kids wanted me to take them shopping so they could spend their Christmas money they received. Stores are hectic the day after Christmas so I did not want to go. I did not get much sleep last night with my man and his puppy staying the night so I was very tired and had a headache today. I had told my kids and my niece that I would take them shopping today and I wanted to stick to it. We spent hours at Toys R Us and the mall. We stopped for some groceries at Aldis and then our last stop was Walmart. It was nice to see a mall that had lots of busy stores as other malls we have been to are mostly ghost towns. While we were in the toy aisle I got a text from my man telling me his son chose to name the new puppy Jade. I told my niece and she was excited because that is her middle name. All three of the kids enjoyed our shopping trip. My son just got sick and it seems to be a bug. I am hoping he will feel better and sleep through the night without getting sick again.

@Tina30219 I am going to buy my daughter a keyboard but other then that I rarely buy my kids anything unless its clothes etc unless it is a holiday or birthday.

He seems to be coming down with a cold and for some reason when he does he gets nauseated. At least he doesn't have a stomach bug.

It can be fun for kids to spend some money on things that they want. It can be a good idea. I hope they found something that they liked.

I rarely buy my kids anything other then holidays and birthdays so it is extra exciting on those days to get presents.

I could have sworn the puppy had blue eyes but the boy named her Jade they said because her eyes are green. I will have to look closer next time to see if I was wrong... Which I probably am

They picked things out fairly fast but we went to a ton of stores so we were out for hours and hours.

I went out to shop a bit today too. I needed to pick up some groceries and wanted to get cheap wrapping paper for next year. I always stock up on wrapping paper and then put it in the back of my closet so i have it for next Christmas. I hope your son gets better quickly! It seems there are some very nasty viruses going around this year.

I always do the same thing with wrapping paper. I am already stocked up too much so I won't buy any sale wrapping paper this year.

They got a few things they really were excited about. Both my kids love Funko Popz figures and my son got two that were Five Nights at Freddys and my daughter got 4 that were from some other shows like cat bug.

They got money for Christmas so they wanted to buy them selves some things they wanted but did not receive for Christmas. It is pretty common the day after Christmas is very busy at stores.
