D'oh!

Last night, I posted a discussion about our annual New Year's Eve fireworks show, with the fireworks being shot off of the summit of Pikes Peak. Turns out that I was confused enough that I thought today was New Year's Eve. The fireworks aren't until tomorrow night. My apologies for the confusion.

D'oh indeed! I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets completely muddled from time to time.

Of course, I didn't bother looking at the calendar hanging in the kitchen.

What threw me this year is that a lot of people decided to observe New Year's Day on the 2nd. Sheesh. No mail. The banks are closed. C'mon people get back to work, wouldja?

I hear you. Luckily, New Year's Day is only on a Sunday every seven years.

@teamfreak16 Nah, just grousing. Comes from working retail all those years where one day was pretty much like another.

@msiduri - I never worked retail, thank goodness. Fast food was bad enough.
