Mom is now gone

My mom passed away in her sleep very unexpectedly last night. She was staying with me and we had a very happy last afternoon and evening together. Family is arriving and I'm picking up my sis in Tampa late tonight. Many more on the way. I'm terribly sad but know she had a very happy, long life and a pain free death.
Will be back when I can.

Thank you Marsha. I'm really on my own now, losing my husband of 45 years and my mom has been quite a jolt. I'm feeling very much alone. But, I am not despondent or depressed. Just wandering a bit, looking for my way again. I plan ahead so as to have things to look forward to.

@Jeanniemaries dang 't, now i've missed yer birthday, too?? yes ma'am, the year 'f firsts 're most diff'cult. 'bout the time i think i've got 'it' 'nder control, i find such aint so. 'tis been 6 years since my dad 'n mamaw passed. they did so within 3 weeks 'f each other 'n their birthdays were the 1st 'n 10th 'f may...i didn't handle the first part 'f this month well 's they both weighed heavy 'pon my heart.

Thank you so, so much. Yesterday was my birthday and it was so sad not to have her here. The first year of "events" and holidays is always hard. Glad to hear from you!

She will rest in peace, it sounds like she had a wonderful family! I'm sorry for your loss. i know it hurts and brings tears but just knowing she is in a better place and will not suffer is a good thing. I hope when I go, I go in my sleep too.
