Good morning,we are cleaning house and the worst part is no home decor should be without dog hair.Ms.Ruby sheds all year long. She is short hair dog.
I remember when we first adopt a dog and one of the question was.
To the owner .can you put up with dog hair.your going to have dog hair all over the place.Even in you food etc.I knew about this.My first two cocker did not shed as much as Ms.Ruby.The house looks so clean and blindly lol.
We have to do this weekly. If you want to stay ahead of hair, hair, hair.
Okay ,how many here deal with pet hair in their house.
Any secret.

I used to have that trouble when I was back in the Philippines. We've got a handful of pets after all. It's very tedious to get rid of hair but it's all worth it to see happy pets.

Indeed, and glad you have the patience. Many just decide to leave their dogs outside for that reason. Brooklyn sheds year round, but is also a short haired dog. She is not bad. I would advise people never to get a German Shepherd if they hate shedding. They are long hair and they shed all year long. They shed about a dog a day. Every time I sweep up, I tell my sister and brother I am making a new dog.

When we got our first lab I told my husband that labs don't shed...I lied..he found that out very quickly! Dog hair is a way of life in this house.

My kids all have dogs and when they visit we are used to them and love them like they were our own. As soon as all the kids and dogs leave I get out the vacuum and its an easy job. The amount of dog hair is astounding! I empty my vacuum over the front porch, the birds and squirrels use the dog hair to warm up their nests...

@amadeo Am I serious about the birds and squirrels using the dog hair? If so then the answer is yes. I can't promise the squirrels do but we find nests all over the place where they are soft and comfy covered in dog hair. The birds pick it up off the lawn and fill their nests with it. As a child my mom had us put yarn and strips of fabric on the bushes in the fall and through the winter, and I did it with my children too. Then in the late spring you can find the left behind nests and find then softened with our yarn and pieces of fabrics...

I have two cats so we have plenty of pet hair everywhere. It keeps up busy trying to keep up with it but they are worth it. It is all part of being a pet owner.

I remember we used to have some one came to our place to clean the carpet. Before he left he told us that with all the hair he saw/collected on the carpet another dog could be made. ;)

Brushing every day @amadeo and even then, all they have to do is shake and you still have hair.
