Less than three hours to a whole new calendar, and after a whole day online I decided to come out to a bar to see in 2017. The Adelphi in Preston is a popular student bar and unlike many pubs, not charging an admission fee even with live bands and very loud DJ's on.
Being old enough to be most people's dad here I'm sitting quietly in a corner with real ale and free wifi. Thank you to everyone on Mylot for reads, comments, etc and your support when life has not been so great. Hope everyone has a great night, January and the whole of 2017 - cheers folks

it is extortion, this bar is free but the music is so atrocious and loud I may move on anyway
