Watching Julie and Julia

Actually I'm recording it as it's a movie I've had on my list to watch for a long time. As most of you might know, it's a movie about a gal who decides to start a blog and for 365 days she write about recipes from the Julia Child cook book. That is actually all I know about the movie as I went to take a nap. On the way out of the room I heard her telling her mom on the phone that doing something for 365 was a good idea. That reminded me of a book I did a review on that said the same thing. That doing the same thing for 365 will also help you organize the rest of your life and establish other good habits. The book was called The Gnome Project and her 365 was making felt Gnomes. I think my 365 shall be to make a minimum of 3 yo-yo's each day. I need to make them for this order plus I have other projects that I want to get made with them, so it sounds like a plan. If you were going to do something everyday for 365 days, what would it be?

I come to myLot every day. I tried to do those granny squares, fell about 100 short. I think I should 1. read some Bible daily, 2. read something else, daily, and 3. do something creative, daily.

Those are all good too. I did the granny square challenge one year. I did get the 365 done by the end of the year plus put them together for a blanket for our bed plus a pillow.

I am not sure what my 365 day challenge would be. It does sound like a good idea. I will think about it more and possibly give it a try.

Right now I'm trying to work ahead on the yo-yo's, which isn't the way it goes, but I need to get my sewing machine out and work on some other projects too and when I do, I still want to be able to put 3 yo-yo's in the bag for that day.

@marsha32 You stay so busy! I am still trying to decide what I would want to do daily for an entire year.

Not enough consistency here for me to do anything *.* Maybe in 2018 or when we are in Italy for the year.

Write. I really need to do that. I'll need to open a book today and work on it.

@just4him I went out of town to babysit grandkids and chose not to take the yo-yo's with me but I made up for it by doing double the next day.

I think for eating it would have to be something super healthy for you like a cup of yogurt each day. I'm just starting on my 3 yo-yo's for today....and really hoping that this habit will lead to other more productive daily habits.

I see that a lot are writing and that is right on the right lines of what the 365 would be...something creative that will then lead you to other productive habits.

I go for a walk every single day and I would keep doing that. I also would swim if the place was open seven days a week.

At one time my goal was to walk every day no matter what the weather. I had ulterior motives for that to take pictures each day on my walk to post to earn with them.
