Packers beat the Lions in a great game. With the way the Lions have played this year and the fact they were at the top of the division going into this game, I knew it was going to be a hard game and a good game to watch. I wasn't wrong. The good news, Green Bay won the division and is hosting the New York Giants at Lambeau next week.
This was a game that could have gone either way throughout. The Lions led at half-time, but it was the last time they led. Both teams racked up points in the last half, but it was the Packers who dominated in the points staying one to two touchdowns ahead to win it in the final seconds 31-24 with a hail Mary by the Lions to bring it within a touchdown. An onside kick by the Lions did not give them back the ball, allowing the Packers to win the game and the division.
Packers and Giants next week and that one should also be a good game. Both teams are used to cold weather and open stadiums. We'll be well-matched.
How did your teams do in their final games today? Thanks for reading.

Raiders laid a big fat egg. Oh well, you can't win them all!
Grats on the Packers win!

Other than what I learn while watching the game, I don't know anything about the other teams going to the playoffs.

I'm not a football fan, only a Packers fan. I don't watch any other teams. I'm glad your favorite teams made the playoff's. It's going to be interesting to see who goes to the Super Bowl.
