It will be almost time to leave the office and soon, I will be home. I will remember all problems and it might make me cry again. My heart has been heavy since Christmas because of family problems. I have been thinking of moving away or living my life in another country. Easier said than done, though more especially if I have already a stable job and is around good colleagues for many years. :(
How are you? I hope you are having a great time which is a total opposite of what I am feeling now.

@annierose I do not think leaving home to escape is not a solution.Talk over the problems and try to solve them first. You have to face it.

@silvermist Her words hurt me so much and she judged not only me but my bf as well. My bf has nothing to do with the problem and she said my bf will just hear bad words if he visits me again.

@annierose If you have to make a choice
then by all means do that.Warn your mother you are leaving because of her behaviour towards you and your boyfriend.Hope everything works out nicely.

@silvermist No need to warn her. I think it is okay with her. I feel that she does not need me at all.

You must cull out those who you can live without. I do that all the time.

@allknowing It is easy if it is not a family member.

@annierose I have done it. If a family member is a source of misery what's the point in having them in your life?

Have you apologized to your mom ? When our moms gets older they want attention and importance . Thus , while we live with them we should always share with them whatever plans we have in life , so at least she knows. That's one way of making them feel important .

@SIMPLYD Her judgments on me and with my boyfriend is something that hurts me so badly. Why is that she said those words so quickly and she even compared me to a very low profile woman? Her words are sharp, that I feel too small now on myself. I can't imagine how could she say those words to me.

@SIMPLYD I understand. We are not yet thinking of marrying soon as marriage is something serious to deal with. There have been lots of couples who wish they were not married at all due to some reasons. We just want to know each other more.

@annierose You just have to undestand that most Filipinos specially the olds are conservative people . They don't want their daughters to be going alone with their boyfriends much more travelling with them , which means sharing room . So , it's understandable why she is like that , with regards to your travelling alone with him , when you aren't married yet . I guess, you know what i mean .

@Drosophila We have a house for rent and I can stay there, but I just don't like our relatives ask me what happened between my mom and I. For sure, many will be curious on what happened and judgmental eyes might think I am such a very bad person leaving my old mom alone in the house.

@annierose well, they will always say whatever they like anyway. You can't always please a bunch of people who delights in malicious gossips. Even, if you move abroad you will get the same gossips.
would you be able to move in with your boyfriend.
