Should I get Herc a Companion?

Writing about the fibreglass cows in Cowaramup, Western Australia, and wishing I could have a small one in Herc's paddock reminded me of these sheep we saw in England some years ago. As someone pointed out, creations like these don't create a mess which is a big thing in their favour. I wonder if Herc would like one of these for company rather than a cow?

I think a sheep would be a good company, ut a cow would be lovely too. lol I think Herc might find them boring though.

He'd find them a bit short on conversation wouldn't he? Not like Vin and I. :)

I don't have any extra to use for that purpose @JudyEv but maybe as I create the kitty pen I can create a dog

Herc is a sheep, not that it matters and yes, mostly they just ignore each other and get along fine.

Does herc have a real cow companion or a decoration? I love these creations! I would love to have one in yard.

We have many life-like looking sheep scattered around our country. Those ones look to be made of meshing wire or something?

Are you meaning real ones? These are made of some sort of wire and/or netting. And Smooch is having a turn of being an avatar! That's nice.

I see they are made from chicken wire - very clever- In SA they make them with beads

That is SO good! And I love that it is one of your fat-tail sheep which aren't common here. Thanks for posting the photo. And the back legs are really well-shaped too. Such things are important to me!

At least a 'pretend' one wouldn't be able to bully him which is my main concern with getting him a friend.

Very creative. Someone went to a lot of time to create and make the wool for those sheep.

They are actually all metal - a sort of netting fleece but it's quite realistic.

This is a very nice idea! In the past when I had a cat, later I bought another cat so that they could be friends My dad said if I didn't buy another cat, then our cat would not live for so long time. Having a company did change his life
