Excellent movie: The Imitation Game

While we were housebound by the Great Blizzard (well, actually a couple inches of blizzard), we watched the best movie: The Imitation Game.
It's a true story about the man who broke the Enigma code of the Germans during World War II, Alan Turing. It was of course top secret and was only revealed in 1973.
Turing was considered to be one of the pioneers of the origin of computers. It's an excellent movie (and it didn't need a lot of vulgar language.) Have you seen it? I very much recommend it.

@1creekgirl I'm generally not a big fan on films based on true stories, because they are often rather more "based" than they are "true" but this was one of the exceptions.

@egdcltd I especially like true stories even if they are loosly based on fact. I also like to learn the actual events afterwards.

It happened during WWII, but it's not what I would call a war movie. I expect you would like it.

It's so wonderful to find an excellent movie that doesn't have terrible language.
