My breakfast normally consists of tea or coffee, an orange or other fruit and a slice of toast. However on the occasional day, Sunday usually, about a few times a year, I crave more substantial breakfast. This usually means crepes from scratch, with freshly made strawberry sauce, syrup and whipped cream. Oh what a treat! For the rest of the family, I treat them to bacon and eggs in addition to the crepes. What is your favorite breakfast?

This looks and sounds so delicious it is making me so hungry and I almost never eat breakfast. I just drink a big thermos of coffee. For lunch I had a big smoothie.

It sounds delicious. I love eggs, hashbrowns and sausage when I'm in the mood for a big breakfast.

Yes, it is hearty but I don't eat breakfasts like that often @Freelanzer I've gotten in the habit of having egg soup instead, it's light and healthy.

Yum, what you call crepes we call pancakes here in New Zealand. And yes, two or three times a year I make them, smothered in maple syrup and accompanied by bananas and bacon.

We also have pancakes. The difference here is pancakes are smaller and thicker and crepes are quite thin and you can fill it with stuff and wrap it.

I thought they were pancakes at first, the crepes I've seen here are usually very, very thin. They look delicious!

Breakfast is my main meal of the day, so I try to make it as nice as possible. My ideal breakfast would be freshly baked wheat bread or rolls, with either peanut butter or marmalade or onion , tomato and garlic sauce, coffee and of course - fruit.
